She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Rinehart and Mildred Rinehart (Austin); her husband Charles; her sister Fern Sheddrick; and her nephew Lynn Sheddrick.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Cole (Steve) of Polk City and Kelly Richards (Shirley) of Ankeny, Iowa; her grandchildren, Kelsie Schankel (Story), Shelby Ravens (Ryan), Lydia Wacker (Jason) and Devin Richards; her great grandchildren, Rylan Ravens, Sawyer Schankel, Khloe Schankel, Emerleigh Wacker, Steele Schankel, Silas Ravens and Hudson Wacker; her nephews, Glenn Sheddrick and Terry Sheddrick (Haley); and her niece Linda Sheddrick.
A memorial fund has been established for the American Legion in Mount Ayr.
