Donald Hensley Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Hensley (Mount Ayr, Iowa), who passed away on September 19, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Hensley and Ruby Hensley; his brother Gary; and his in-laws, Helen Olney Miller, Clark, Thelma Olney Kite, Roger Olney, Charlotte Olney Trammell and Georgia Olney.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Lenore Olney "Edie"; his son Jeffrey Allen (Renee); his granddaughter Jenee Jolain Hensley; his brother Raymond (Judy); and his in-laws, Marilyn (Olney) and Leroy Olney. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don's honor to McMurry United Methodist Church, 25 Eugene Field Road, Kansas City, MO 64119.
