He was predeceased by: his parents, William Walden and Gladys Rouse Walden; and his brothers, Darrell, William Henry, Jr., Larry and Michael.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Walden of Mount Ayr, Iowa; his children, Rachel Sue Jones of Cedar Rapids, Timothy Walden (Carman) of Lawton, Raydeen Derscheid of Mount Ayr and Mark Paul Walden, Sr. of Des Moines; and his siblings, Kenneth of Bellville, Jack Walden of Hannibal, Russell Walden of Myrtle Beach and Linda Underhill of Hannibal, Missouri. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
