It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lee Hunt (Mount Ayr, Iowa), who passed away on February 26, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Maurice "Jake" Hunt; and his grandparents, George, Orilla Hunt, Bernard, Leta Sullivan and Duane Sickels.
He is survived by: his mother Helen Louise Sickels Hunt; his brothers, Randy Lynn and Randy Hunt (Lori Hunt); his nephew Douglas Hunt; his niece Amanda Hunt; his great-niece Hayley Hunt; his great-nephews, Connor Curphey, Carson Curphey and Corbon Curphey; his aunts, Ann McGrevey (Dan, family: Curt, Ann Duffield, Jason, Jill Duffield, Sean, Amy McGrevey, Ann) and Karen Bollerman (family: Krista, Mark Huffman); and his close friends, Pamela Eugster, Chris Walter, Craig Partin, Charlie Abarr and Tim Saville. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Memorials are to the American Heart Association and Wounded Warrior Project.
