Clara McVey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara McVey of Mount Ayr, Iowa, who passed away on January 26, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Harris and Dorothy Harris (Cartwright); her husband Bob McVey; her son-in-law Rick McVey; her granddaughter Susan McVey; and her sister Velda Adams.
She is survived by: her former husband Bud Ayres; her daughters, Deb Ayres-Sickels (Bill) and Pam McVey; her stepdaughter Pam Meyer (Jim); her grandchildren, Mandi Dunbar, Becky McVey (Justin) and Tom McVey (Miranda); her sister Alma Harris; and her friend Jodi Angus. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
Later in her career, she worked in the Alzheimer's unit there.
