He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward William Taylor and Wilma Beatrice Schafer Taylor; his sister ShirleyMae; his in-laws, Leo and Charlotte Devereux; his sisters-in-law, Joan Devereux-Haning, Catherine and Susan Devereux; and his son-in-law Eric Johnson (Marvin Boyer).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Devereux Taylor; his children, Anne Taylor, Brian Taylor (Eric Johnson), Kathleen Taylor-Coulsen (Scott), Monica Walters, Joseph and MaiLynn Taylor; his grandchildren, Gabrielle Hunke, Quinn and Ben Coulson; his children, Liam, Landon, Adelynn and Theodore Walters; and also Jaxen James.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Josephs Catholic Church (204 E Madison St, Mt Ayr, IA 50854). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
