Brenda Poppa Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Poppa (Mount Ayr, Iowa), who passed away on November 16, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Lou (Matheny) and Robert Walkup; her husband Todd; her sister Diana Walkup; and her nephew Alan England.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Ware (Sam) and Gracie Lawson (Logan); her parents-in-law, Larry and Heidi; her brother Bobby Walkup (Joyce Jackson); her grandchildren, Kane Ellenwood (Kerry), Shane Ware (Ali) and Kaci Ellenwood (Taylor Jones); her great grandchildren, Austin Ware, Koen Ellenwood and Reagan Ware; her nephews, Eddie Walston (Joni), Shaun Walkup and Nick; her grandfather Nathan; her niece Payton; her great-nieces, Maci Simmons (Dan) and Rogan Parker; her great-nephew Yovanni; her grandfather Jadon Ballard; her siblings-in-law, Tim (Michelle), Troy and Tiffany (Gary); and also Novah Simmons. She is also survived by Poppa and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Blockton Christian Church (403 Stevenson St, Blockton, IA 50836). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
