With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Payne of Mount Auburn, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on July 28, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Payne and Shirley Payne (Quinn). He is survived by: his wife Laura Reninger; his children, Larry Payne, Gene Payne (Diane), Tom Payne (Katie) and Louise Fleming (Scott); his grandchildren, Megan Peterson (Ryan), Cody Payne, Hannah Kim, Rebecca Payne, Jason Payne, Jeremiah Lee, Christopher, Alana, Katelyn, Madison Fleming, Jamisen Payne, Livia Watts and Adrien Watts; his great grandchildren, Gracelynn, Casen, Raelynn and Octavia; and his sisters, Sandra Hayungs, Regina Christenson (Jeff) and Ramona Wolfe.
