He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Mason and Doris Mason (Miles); his brother Russell Mason; and his father-in-law David "LaVerne" Horn. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Horn; his children, Tiffany Quimby (Josh), Zach Mason (Joie) and Jonathon Mason (Rose); his grandchildren, Elise, Jameson Quimby, Zachary, Caselynn, Eden and Astrid Mason; his siblings, Ricky Mason (Debra), Robby Mason (Evelyn) and Carman Mason; his sister-in-law Denise Mason; and his mother-in-law Fern Horn.

Memorials may be given to Holt International Adoption Agency or Fairview Church of the Brethren.
