She was predeceased by: her parents, Herb Bland and Earlene Bland; her husband John Pettis; her daughter Rebecca "Becky" Pettis; and her siblings, David Bland and Hope Bland.
She is survived by: her daughters, Earlene Bland (Whicker) and Rhonda Foster; her grandchildren, Reba Major (Colby), Wendy Laughridge (Nick) and Wyatt Foster; her great grandchildren, Hunter, Bentley, Addilyn, Brexlyn, Emma and Mason; her siblings, Herb Bland (Linda), Ross Bland (Cindy), Charles Bland (Donna), Mike Bland (Susie), Tim Bland, Anthony Bland, Tammy Biggerstaff and Carole Heilman (Mark); and her close friend Dana Young (Mike).
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the American Legion (116 N Main St, Moulton, IA 52572).
