He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold "Bill" and Charlotte Grunder (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Herr of Moscow; his children, Deb McQuillen (Tom) of Moscow, Dr. Richard Grunder (Brenda) of Wilton, Jill Gerot (Rob) of Riverside, Becky Henke (Greg) of Durant, Tom Grunder (Ellen) of Madison and Jodi Wakeham of Moscow; his grandchildren, Andrew McQuillen, Abby Hendershot (Travis), Kayla Byington (Jay), Erik Grunder (Shelby), Carlee Grunder, Katie Gerot, Grant Gerot, Austin Henke (Hilary), Trevor Henke (Sydney), Ashley Burkle (Ben), Adam Grunder and Joel Grunder (Mary Cate); and his siblings, Paul Grunder (Sandy) of Muscatine, Jim Grunder (Sharon) of Wilton, Roger Grunder (Carolyn) of Wilton and Marcia Grunder of Wilton. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
