She was predeceased by: her spouse Jerald I. Atkinson; her daughter-in-law Phyllis Atkinson; and her grandson Jason. She is survived by: her children, Richard Nelson (Yong) of Korea, Steven Nelson (Robyn) of Houston, TX, Rhonda Atkinson-Mann (Max) of Nappanee, IN, Jerald Jr. Atkinson (Terri) of Kensington, CT and Mark Atkinson (Kenlynn) of Edgerton, WI; her daughter-in-law Kathy Nelson Sellberg of Stanford, IL; and her brother Dallas "Dean" Stratman (Joyce) of Caledonia, MI.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
