He was predeceased by: his father Robert "Butch" Bierman, Jr.; and his father-in-law Jerry Noll. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Bierman (Boorn) of Moscow; his wife Helena Bierman of Moscow; his son Connor Bierman of Moscow; his sisters, Jennifer Gandia of Muscatine and Stacey Werling (Dustin) of Atalissa; his mother-in-law Patti Noll of Muscatine; and his brother-in-law Bert Noll (Jennifer) of Letts.
A memorial has been established for the Wilton Chapter of FFA in John's name.
