With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth Schaver of Morrison, Iowa, born in Albany, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 25, 2024 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Schaver and Jeanette Schaver (Buikema); and his sisters, Darlene Rathje and Carol Stash. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Kaufman of Morrison; his children, Kenda Swailes (Shay Phelps) of Muscatine, IA, Brad Schaver (Deb) of Iowa City, IA, Barry Schaver (Kari) of Kewanee, IL, Effie Schaver (Dan Moore) of Belvidere, IL, Emily Kelps (Joel) of DeKalb and Brittany Brewer (Jason) of Fulton, IL; and his brothers, Donald Schaver (Marilyn) of Albany, Harlan Schaver (Evelyn) of Fulton and Robert Schaver (Deb) of Albany. He is also survived by five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
