It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delpha Sorensen of Morrison, Iowa, who passed away on August 4, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roscoe Rice and Florence Rice (Purdy); her husband Dean Sorensen; her daughters, Danette Hayden (Rick) of Lincoln and Danielle Shea (Scott) of Cedar Falls; her grandchildren, Kenneth Plaehn (Hailey), Nicholas Plaehn, Kyle Plaehn, Ryan Plaehn and Jaylin Shea; her great grandchildren, Lucas, Korbyn and Kennedy Plaehn; and her siblings, Donald Rice, Roscoe Rice, Martha Rose, Robert Rice, Lorna Belle, Alberta RoAnn and Laura Francis.
