Harriet Ann Newcomb Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriet Ann Newcomb of Morning Sun, Iowa, born in Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Maurice and Gladys Ione Hutcheson (Fischer); her former husband Charles Eugene Newcomb; and her brother-in-law Roger. She is survived by: her children, Tony Newcomb (Jamie) of Mediapolis, David Newcomb (Brenda) of Mediapolis, Wendi Lemmon (Mark) of New London and Stacie Venghaus (Brent) of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Jeremy Shafer, Josh Newcomb, Justin Newcomb (Addison), Jaydon Newcomb, Landon Lemmon, Nathan Lemmon, Matthew Lemmon, Zachary Venghaus and Zerek Venghaus; her great grandchildren, Jordy Shafer, Hudson Shafer, Tessa Newcomb and Colson Newcomb; and her siblings, Connie Garland of Mediapolis and Jay Hutcheson (Terri) of Morning Sun. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
