He is survived by: his former wife Margret Jayne Stocker; his children, Jeff, Kristy Coatney (Jerry) of Brazil and Bryan Scott (Lori) of Moravia, Iowa; his grandchildren, Tess Hill (Kalvin) of Bloomfield, Cameron Scott (Xaviera) of Moravia, Noah Coatney of Iowa City and Abby Coatney of Brazil, Iowa; his great grandchildren, Braxton and Ivan Hill; and his sister Sondra Scott (Dave) of Albia, Iowa. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
