With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Lockman Brooke of Moravia, Iowa, born in Versailles, Missouri, who passed away on July 16, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Rumans and Elsie Katherine Rumans (Bellamy); her husbands, Billy Lockman and Earl Brooke; her parents-in-law, Raymond and Lavonna Lockman; her sister-in-law Maxine Burdock (Tom); her siblings, LaVerna Riegel (Dale) and James Earl Rumans (Janet); her brother-in-law Joe Smith; her son-in-law Dennis Strickler; her nephew Randy Jones; and her niece Karen Riegel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Sandstrom (Jerry) of Moravia, Vicky Strickler of Iconium and Cindy Penfield (Tim) of Moravia; her sister-in-law Dorothy Jean Smith of Centerville; her grandchildren, Billy Strickler (Brandi), Clarissa Cabossart (Rusty), Marci Kraber (John), Jacob Strickler (Katelynn), Sara Mundy (Randy), Garrett Penfield and Lacey Gallagher (Ryan); and her great grandchildren, Jaxon Strickler, Eva Strickler, Riley Cabossart, Autumn Cabossart, Anna Kraber, Grady Kraber, Kiley Strickler, Cohen Strickler, Demi Strickler, Tristin Mundy, Aubrey Mundy, Kinsley Gallagher, Kaceton Gallagher and Knash Gallagher.
