She was predeceased by: her parent Dal Douglas Nejedly; her adoptive father Ronnie; and her brother Frank. She is survived by: her husband Matthew Leffler of Moravia, Iowa; her daughters, Kelsey Oster (Josh) of Albia and Ashley Hedrick (Eric) of Versailles, Missouri; her granddaughter Ryleigh Kay; and her siblings, Kevin Nejedly, Missy Swygard and Lou Ann Brockman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to an Education Fund for Bertie's Grandchildren and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, IA 52544.
