With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Opal Mullins (Moravia, Iowa), who passed away on February 11, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otho Mercer and Ivy Mercer (Baugher); her children, Carol Robertson and Larry Mullins (Donna); her siblings, Golda Hicks, Guerney, Lester, Virgil and Orval Mercer; and her grandson Jody Robertson.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Mullins and Mary Joyce VeVerka (James); her daughter-in-law Donna; her grandchildren, Robin Brock (Jim), Michelle Montoya (Ross), Lance Robertson, James VeVerka (Lindsey), Benton VeVerka, Jessie Mullins (Mackenzie) and Corey Mullins (Sheila); and her siblings-in-law, Norma Mercer, Marolyn Mullins, Maxine Hager and Bill Mullins.
Memorial contributions may be made in Opal's name, to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Friends of the Drake Public Library, and may be dropped off or mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 South 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
