He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren DuVall and Lois DuVall (Graham); his siblings, Ruth Gibbons, Virginia, Max McDonough, Nellie and Shorty Eaves; his half-brothers, Lowell and Mansell; and his son-in-law John Clayworth.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Helmick DuVall of Moravia, Iowa; his daughter Sheila Clemens (Douglas) of Moravia, Iowa; his grandchildren, Lydia Lewis (Steve Daniels), Cody Clayworth (Leslie Hill), Casey Morlan (Jon), Tasha Whye (Ben) and Kristy Clemens; his great grandchildren, Jazmine Lewis, Ava Martin, Trenton Clayworth, Blane Clayworth, Bentley Clayworth, Macon Morlan, Mesa Morlan, Elissa Whye, Rebeckah Whye, Mikeal Whye, Alayna Sinko and Gavin McDuffy; and his siblings, Bill DuVall (Dianna), Mary Benz (Bill) and Jo McAninch (Max). He is also survived by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial has been established to the Moravia First Responders and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
