It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred McBride of Moravia, Iowa, born in Ottumwa, Iowa, who passed away on May 16, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lou McBride (Myers) and Lydle McBride; and his grandparents, Albert Elmer, Kathryn McBride (Downer), Fred and Norine Freda Myers (Collins).
He is survived by: his wife Janice McBride of Moravia; his children, Travis McBride (Jessica) of Manitowoc and Stephanie Burke (Harry) of Centerville, Iowa; his grandchildren, Desiree Carlson (Cody), Macy Underwood (Zack), Carson Underwood, Nolan McBride, Logan McBride and Haley McBride; his great grandchildren, Wenry Carlson and Denny Alice Carlson; his sisters, Terri Buesing (Gerald) of Ponca City, Barb Perkins (Don) of Albia, Carla Cochran of Moravia, Peggy Sue Bird (Larry) of Ashland, Becky Underwood (Bill) of Moravia and Susie Long (Kenny) of Centerville, Iowa; and his aunts, Patricia McBride Osteen of Ottumwa and Elaine Jackson (Ray) of Ames, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and a lot of good friends.
A memorial has been established to the Family of Fred McBride, to be determined at a later date, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th St, Centerville, IA, 52544.
