He was predeceased by: his parents, Fay Paxston and Marjorie Paxston (O'Conner); his brother Dale Paxston; and his friend Judy Fosenburg. He is survived by: his sisters, Reta Wolver (Estel) of Moravia and Carol Nitzel (David) of Unionville, Missouri; his close friends, Heather Kraber and Jim Knapp of Moravia; and also Melannie of Moravia.
Ellis donated many hours volunteering throughout the Moravia community that he cared so much for.
