He was predeceased by: his parents, Orel Kaster and Alice Kaster; his wife Janice Kaster; his son Bobby Kaster; his sisters, Frances Benell and Dana Albers; and his sisters-in-law, Wilma Huff and Anita Jones.
He is survived by: his daughter Tina Hart (Dave) of Chariton; his grandchildren, Gage Hart, Trisha Linville and Jonathon Linville; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Fenton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
