She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Ballantyne and Joyce Ballantyne (Solberg). She is survived by: her husband Keith Hinkel of Moorhead, Iowa; her sons, Bryan Hinkel of Moorhead and Byron Hinkel of Onawa, Iowa; her great grandchildren, Shyanne, Scarlett, Josalyn, Harper and Axel; and her brother Richard Ballantyne (Linda). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Moorhead Christian Church (407 Oak St, Moorhead, IA 51558). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
