She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mothers, Frances Petersen and Frieda Petersen (Albers); her husband Olan Wesley Pottorff; her son Dennis Pottorff; her grandson Wesley Pottorff; her great grandchild Riley Beeck; her sons-in-law, Harvey Gimbel and Douglas Crippen; her siblings, Caroline Christopersen (Henry), Sylvia Betsworth (Wayne) and Ervine Petersen; her brother-in-law Otto; and her children, Judith Gimbel of Onawa, IA, Candice Crippen of Van Buren, AK, Karleen Beeck (Steve) of Charter Oak, IA, Laramay Adams (Jim) of Grandview, WA and Mark Pottorff (Karen) of Mulberry, AK. She was also cherished by 18 grandchildren, 20 great- grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; sister.
