He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Lindsey and Mary Lindsey (Monthei); his parents-in-law, Harold and Esther Nielsen (Eskelsen); his siblings-in-law, Karl Nielsen (Barb), Ivan Nielsen (Janice) and Lottie Magill (Jerry); and his nephews, Douglas Nielsen and Ken Nielsen.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Marie Lindsey (Nielsen) of Moorhead, Iowa; his children, Jay Lindsey of Elk Point, Todd Lindsey (Twyla) of Sergeant Bluff, Susan Kloostra (Trent) of Sergeant Bluff, Kristine Wulf of Whiting and John (Jill Hinkel) of Sioux City, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Nick Lindsey, Jen Lindsey (Dennis Staley), Katelyn Roel (Mike), Eric Lindsey (Erin), Jon, Zack, Josh Kloostra, Mike Wulf, Marcus Seaton (Andrea), Shad Wulf, Justin Seaton and Morgan Konz. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
