He is survived by: his children, Dave Holmes (Luci) of Mesa, AZ, Debbie Thompson (Chuck) of Montrose, Shawn Holmes of West Point, Jim Kempker (Brenda) of Ft. Madison, Mike Kempker (Pam) of West Point, Patrick Kempker (Margaret) of Sand Diego, CA and Patricia Eid (Peggy Hirte) of Ft. Madison. He is also survived by six grandchildren, numerous great and great great grandchildren.
