With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jean Jones of Montrose, Iowa, born in Ethel, Missouri, who passed away on October 19, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Estel Pete and Barbara Speak Mead; her husband Donald Jones; her daughter Donna Jean Jones; her great grandchild Marly Mae-Jean Jones; and her siblings, Bobbie Dean Mead, Iris Darlene Jones (Herb), Everett Mead and Rosetta Mead.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Miranda Jones of Bennett, IA, Marlana Jones of Bennett, IA, Haley Jones, Emmit Garrelts and Cole Garrelts; her great grandchild Jesse Glasgow; and her brother Gerald Mead (Sue) of Montrose, IA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
