It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Varner of Montpelier, Iowa, born in Muscatine, Iowa, who passed away on October 17, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Varner and Beulah Varner (Bergen); and his sister Linda Doty. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Marshall (Hammond) of Montpelier; his children, Richard Varner (Paula) of Corydon, Indiana, Diane Juehring (Lee) of Muscatine and Doug Varner Jones (Julie) of Muscatine; and his stepchildren, John Marshall (Beth) of Fairbury, Illinois and Janet Glass (Bill) of Blue Grass. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Muscatine Humane Society or the Pine Creek Grist Mill at Wild Cat Den in Bob's name.
