She was predeceased by: her father Gary Hillygus; her husband Mark McCoy; her grandmother Maurine Cooper; and her brother Timothy Hillygus. She is survived by: her mother Carol Hillygus (Cooper); her niece Staci Scavo (Justin); her great-niece Elena; her nephew Hunter Hillygus; her sister-in-law Tanya Hillygus; and her nieces, Kelsey Bankey (Steve) and Shelley Leiser (Zach). She is also survived by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews and several other extended family.
