It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Vacek (Monticello, Iowa), born in Maquoketa, Iowa, who passed away on April 13, 2020, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeke Vacek and Janice Vacek. He is survived by: his wife Julie Kraus Carl; his daughters, Megan Bies (Mike), Michelle Rollinger (Cody) and Melissa Allardyce; and his siblings, Joyce Delong (John), Carla Matt (Kevin), Vicky Vacek and George Vacek. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
