We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2019, at the age of 77, Shirley Marlene Lietz (Monticello, Iowa), born in Center Junction, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Rickels and Dorthea Rickels (Antons); her grandsons, Adam and Daniel Kidd; and her brothers, Larry Rickels (Paula) and Ervin Rickels.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Kidd (Dennis) of Maquoketa, Gary Lietz (Christina) of Hanover, IL, Paul Lietz of Maquoketa, Keno Lietz of Scotch Grove and Holly Kluesner (Matt) of Hopkinton; her grandchildren, Timothy, Joshua (Heather Kidd), Melinda (Hunter Lietz), Jacqueline (Arthur Lietz) and Jacey (Dane Thomas); her siblings, Marvin Rickels (Daisy) of Monticello, Susan Wright of Scotch Grove and Eugene Rickels (Kay) of Hopkinton; and her sister-in-law Dixie Rickels of Anamosa. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
