She was predeceased by: her husband Galan; her siblings, John Schilt, Magdalena Hall, Margaret Steiner and Mary Burrichter; her grandsons, Stuart Covington and Nick Brokaw; and her parents, Ulrich Schilt and Magdalena Schilt (Baumann).
She is survived by: her children, Sue Brokaw (Randy) of Monticello, Mike Covington (Janice) of Leon and Dan Covington (Ellen) of Coggon. She is also survived by Nine grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
