He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Burlage and Frances Burlage (Kurt); his wife Marilyn Rahe; his parents-in-law, Gerald and Agnes Rahe (Tauke); his brothers, Bill Burlage (Jeanne) and John Burlage; and his fathers-in-law, Richard Tallman, Floyd Hignite and Leon Funke.
He is survived by: his children, Peg Mere (Frank) of Monticello, Marty Burlage (Stacey) of Monticello, Jane Smith (John) of Lafayette, IN and Tim Burlage (Rubi) of Florham Park, NJ; his siblings, Grace Tallman of Davenport, Richard Burlage of Brooklyn, NY, Helen Hignite of Edmond, OK and Donald Burlage (Marcia) of Tipton, IN; and his parents-in-law, Doris Burlage of Monticello, Karen Funke of Dyersville and Ken Rahe (Shirley) of Dyersville. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
