He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Boeding; his son Scott; his sister Linda Willard; and his parents, Dean Milroy and Jeraldine Appleby Milroy.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard Jr. (Keri Childs) and Randy (Tracey); his grandchildren, Rick, Amanda Goedken (Matt) and Gabrielle; his great grandchildren, Addison, Leah, Benjamin, Evelyn and Lillyan; and his sister Nancy Eiben.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Goettsch Funeral Home (514 W 1st St, Monticello, IA 52310).
