He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Ann Gudenkauf of Partrick's Catholic Church; his siblings, Allen, Bob, Larry, Leroy (Lee), Charlie Kelchen, Theresa Dullea, Betty DeRosia and Rita Kelchen; his half-sisters, Mary Eleanor Graessle and Katherine Mathews; and his parents, Leona Kelchen and Crowley.
He is survived by: his children, Marv (Sandy), Ron (Shelly), Mark Kelchen of Monticello, Cheryl Classen (Shane) of Orion, IL, Cindy Stock (Ryan) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Christy Arthur (Chris) of Central City, IA.; and his siblings, Bill (Dolores), John, Ben Kelchen (Kor) and Ruth Pasker (Dick). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, Sisters-in-laws and 1 Brother-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
