He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronnie Nowachek and Shirley Nowachek (Hurst). He is survived by: his sister Kim DeMoss of Dubuque; his stepmother Jody Nowachek-Miller (James) of Anamosa; his stepgrandmother Delores Neal of Monticello; his sister Koree Miller of Anamosa; and his nephews, Brad Bahnsen, Derick DeMoss, Stacie DeMoss, Mindie Adamos and Tommy DeMoss. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins.
