She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Reyner and Rachel Reyner (Leggett); her husband John Tschantz; her son Terry Chapman; her son-in-law Steve Sutterman (Dale Chapman); and her siblings, Max Reyner, Norma Childers, Sam Reyner, Alleyne Childers, Betty Ward, Hazel Sybell, Eleanor Wroblewski (Tuddy) and Janice Schmidt.
She is survived by: her children, Laurie Young (Dwight), Dennis Chapman (Debra), Lonnie Chapman (Debbie), Tammy Sutterman and Sheree Doyle (Keith); her grandchildren, Jeff Chapman (Sue), Nikki Chapman, Shantry Young (Carol), Dustin Young (Angela), Katie Farrowe (Angus), Karen Verhagen (Justin), Clayton Chapman (Janelle), Ginger Philburn (Justin), Emily Culver (Will), Jennifer Speltz (Mark), Clint Chapman (Andrea), Amber Rance (Brian), Nash Sutterman (Isabel Williams), Jacob Doyle (Tetiana Fliashovska), Lacy Orcutt (Kody) and Lizy Doyle (Curtis English); and her brother-in-law Gene Schmit. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, great great grandchild, step-children and step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church (226 N Cedar St, Monticello, IA 52310). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery.
