We are sad to announce that on June 9, 2019, at the age of 89, Marvin Jacobs (Monticello, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Jacobs and Catherine Jacobs (Lubben); his wife Joan Lee Ireland; his sisters, Lorraine McAllister and Millie Traugott; his children-in-law, Larry Gollaher and Jean Jacobs; and his grandson Brett Jacobs.
He is survived by: his close friend Marjory Stubbe; his children, Mike Jacobs (Jackie), Doug Jacobs (Pam) and Brenda Stecker (Ron); his grandchildren, Keri Jacobs, Jenny Saunders, Michelle Prull, Alan Jacobs, Mark Jacobs and Angie Ramspott; and his stepgrandchildren, Bill Thompson, Jennifer Riecke, Jake Thompson, Meredith Johnson, Whitney Penny, Jeff Gollaher, Jim Gollaher and Amy Steele. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren: fourteen step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
