She was predeceased by: her son David Countryman; her sister Sondra; and her father Lester. She is survived by: her children, Peggy Payne (Brad), Darrin Countryman, Patty Griffin and Dennis Countryman (Kay); and her husband David Countryman. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
