He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ruth Hardersen, Rosemary Lorenzen, Amy Wilson, John, Howard and Dean.

He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Moore (Kent), Kim Zirkelbach (Jo), Tony Zirkelbach (Terri) and Holly Kenison (Martin); and his wife Ruth Spahr.
