He was predeceased by: his stepmother Theresa Goedken-Burkle; his son-in-law Paul Hasler; and his siblings, Agnes, Anna, Helen Sperfslage, Arnold and John.
He is survived by: his children, Duane, Petersburg, Randy, Debbie Etringer (Dick), Deanne Hasler, Becky Bader (Jeff), David, Brian, Pat (Katrina) and Michael (Johna); his sister Marie Recker; and his wife Anna Platten.
