It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LeRoy Petersen of Monticello, Iowa, born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on July 25, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Petersen and Elnora Petersen (Hamann); and his wife Janice Rochau. He is survived by: his children, Catherine Ganfield (David) of Ankeny, Kelly Herren (Chris) of Monticello, Kim Stoll (Jim) of Camanche, Douglas Petersen (Sue) of Spragueville, David Petersen (Holly) of Pearl City and Steven Petersen (Carolyn) of Preston, Iowa. He is also survived by 14 grand children, 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Iowa Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America or Camp Courageous.
