He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Hartwig (Eilers); and his brother Larry. He is survived by: his father Kenneth Hartwig; his wife Cheryl; his children, Thomas and Mary; his stepson Matthew Moore; and his siblings, Leroy, Harold, Beatrice Hochhalter, Judy Bechthold, Joe and Leon. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
