It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Coleman of Monticello, Iowa, who passed away on August 24, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Coleman and Doris Coleman (McAvoy). He is survived by: his wife Donna Levsen; his sons, Chris James Coleman of Lisbon, IA and James Michael Coleman (Allison) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Evan, Quinn, Mitchell, Rileigh and Garrett; and his siblings, Diane Boeckel (Clayton) of Beulah, ND, Susan Vandewalle (Joe) of Palo, IA, Douglas Coleman (Robin) of Bismarck, ND, Beverly Mehrer (Kenny) of Bismarck, ND and Deborah Woehl (Wesley) of Bismarck, ND..

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Swisher American Legion Post 671 or to UnityPoint Hospice Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery Funeral Home.
