He is survived by: his wife Eulyn (Reninger); his children, Eric Frostestad (Kathy), David Frostestad (Emily) and Heidi Frostestad (Kuehl); his grandchildren, Kristofer Frostestad, Ethan Frostestad (Aly), Kalyn Frostestad (Corbin Elliott), Timothy Frostestad, Benjamin Frostestad, Caleb Frostestad, Bethany Frostestad and Grace Kuehl; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Eness. He is also survived by nieces and nephew.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (235 S 2nd St, West Branch, IA 52358). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church, University of Iowa Cancer Center, Iowa City Hospice, or EWALU Lutheran camp in his name.
