Elaine Ann Buol Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elaine Ann Buol (Monticello, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 11, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Garriet Harms, Sr. and Elise Harms (Schlemmer); her husband Lavern Buol; and her siblings, Catherine Folkers, Berdina Steuri, Johann Harms, Lena Harms, Henry Harms, Amy Ulferts, Bernice Delaney, Laura Ambuehl, Iona Kremer, Beverly Wolf, Garriet Harms Jr. and Harvey Harms.
She is survived by: her children, Sherri Neofotist, Gregory Buol and Douglas Buol (Mihoko); and her grandchildren, Martin Neofotist, Amanda Elson, Shane Buol and Elizabeth Buol. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Monticello Veterans Hall (220 E 1st St, Monticello, IA 52310).
Memorials may be directed to Monticello Public Library, Monticello Heritage & Cultural Center, and Riverside Gardens in Monticello.
