It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Johena (Nevermann) Engelhardt (Monticello, Iowa), born in Hawkeye, Iowa, who passed away on January 4, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Emil Nevermann and Olga Nevermann (Kliefoth); her daughters, Shirley Amos of Waterloo, Dorothy Engelhardt (Tom Welch) of Anamosa and Janice Engelhardt of Delano, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Sheryl Sampson (Brad) of Greeley, Shelley Stickfort (Greg) of Monticello, Sherry Kaiser of Joliet and Robert Amos of Lisbon; her sister-in-law Rachel Engelhardt of Elkader; her husband Orval; and her sisters, LaNida Palas and Esther Schutte. She was also cherished by 10 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
