He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Glawatz and Ester Glawatz; his brother Roger Glawatz; and his son Dale Fredrick Glawatz II. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Morris; his children, Beth Cruise (Jeff) of Scotch Grove and Jeremy Glawatz (Andrea) of Monticello, Iowa; his grandchildren, Taylor Atwater (Kirk), Caitlyn, Cole and Carter Cruise (Caroline Collet); his children, Keagan, Ella, Jensen and Zane Glawatz; his great grandchild Bailey Atwater; his brother Bill Glawatz (Nancy) of Indianapolis, Indiana; and his sister-in-law Sharon Glawatz of Lincoln, Nebraska.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Goettsch Funeral Home (514 W 1st St, Monticello, IA 52310). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (18927 IA-38, Monticello, IA 52310).
